    Mizuna is also known as Japanese mustard. It has a mild peppery flavour and dark green jagged leaves that sit atop numerous narrow white stalks.

    It is traditionally pickled, stir-fried, added to nabemono (Japanese hotpot) and eaten raw in salads.
