Roasted Soybean Flour (Kinako)
Kinako is a healthy, gluten-free alternative to wheat flour. It has a sweet, nutty taste and powdery texture. It is a common ingredient used for topping Japanese desserts such as warabimochi and dango.
It can be sprinkled over ice-cream or plain yoghurt, mixed into milk or added to hot water to make a healthy drink. It can also be added to pancakes and cookies and baked into quick breads.
